We meet at the airport (time is arranged individually for each group) near the information desk (details sent personally to guests). We take the ferry to Male (departs every 15 minutes). The ride to the capital takes about 10 minutes. We visit local landmarks, the fish and fruit markets. You can also try local cuisine and browse souvenir shops (upon request). We return to the airport by ferry.

💳 PAYMENT POLICY

Booking excursions with ALGA TOURS requires a prepayment of 10 USD per person for each excursion.

Prepayment is non-refundable.

The prepayment amount is included in the total excursion cost.

Excursions can be rescheduled no more than once and no later than 5 days before the scheduled date — subject to group availability and free spots.

Prepayment Methods:

  • In RUB at the current USD exchange rate — Rosselkhozbank (purchase)

Payment of Remaining Amount:

  • In RUB by card transfer (EXCEPT RESORTS and fishing — cash USD only)
  • Cash USD at the office
  • VISA / MasterCard / Union Pay at the office (provided the card works abroad)

⚠️ Important Information!

Starting from January 1, 2024, a 4% commission from the Maldives Bank is charged for card payments.

Booking Confirmation

Confirm your booking with FULL PAYMENT no later than 2 days before the scheduled excursion.

If full payment is not made, the company reserves the right to consider the booking cancelled at the client's initiative.

❌ CANCELLATION POLICY

Please carefully review the excursion cancellation and refund rules.

ALGA TOURS excursions are group-based.

The excursion date is determined based on group formation and weather conditions. Therefore, the company reserves the right to change the excursion date if necessary.

If You Cancel:

  • ✓ Cancellation 24+ hours before:
    Full refund minus prepayment
  • ✗ Cancellation <24 hours before:
    No refund provided

If Company Cancels:

  • ✓ 100% refund guaranteed
  • ✓ Refunds processed within 1 business day

In Case of Illness:

If a guest becomes aware of an illness 24 hours before the scheduled service and decides to cancel, the following is required to request a refund or rescheduling:

  1. Notify one of the ALGA TOURS managers electronically
  2. Provide medical documents confirming contraindications for the excursion date (documents can be obtained at the hospital on Maafushi Island)
  3. A separate medical document is required for each participant

⚠️ If medical documents are not provided, the booking will be considered fully cancelled without refund or rescheduling.

  • ❌ Women's critical days are not a valid reason for refund or rescheduling
